Me having bought a smaller version a few months back already suggests it's good, right? So what you get with the Bathmate is near immediate temporary gains that are pretty impressive. As in you really do seem a lot bigger (especially thicker) for a while, which is a lot of fun on its own.
As for more permanent gains, that's harder to say for sure as it's only been some months. Generally speaking it goes back to the same size in 12 hours or so. But, as said before, I switched from the 7 to the 9 because I was getting to the limits of the 7. When I first started, even the best pumping sessions left me a little short of the 17 cm mark. At the time of switching, every pumping session would easily go well past 18 cm. That's in 3-4 months. Does that mean it's "permanent gains"? I think some of it at least is. That part is slow, as I would expect it to be.
As to the particular product, I find the pressure considerably harder to maintain in the 9 than in the 7. That might be because my base girth isn't nearly what the 9 would suggest, I do fit in comfortably in the 7 too (it was mostly length that was getting to the limit). Yet I drop one star due to that since I'm not sure that's the reason for the pressure issue. Anyway, get the right size for yourself, not the bigger one thinking you'll grow into it. Unless you're close to the limit, if you are... well, use your own judgement.
